chickpea dumpling soup

This one's spicy. I borrowed this recipe from @prunchme.
2 tbsp cooking oil
2 tbsp thai red curry paste
2 cups water
1 can coconut milk (1.5 cups)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 can chickpeas or 1 cup edamame
a handful of frozen dumplings
1 lime
salt to taste
Heat oil in a pot and cook off your red curry paste.
Add water and coconut milk, then simmer.
Add chickpeas/edamame, soy sauce, salt (optional), and dumplings.
Return to simmer, then serve with a bit of squeezed lime
