I add a few new books to my collection this week (they were a steal!) and explore the city a few different times with a few different people. Mara and a few other roommates arrive back to the flat from their holidays. Course planning begins abruptly as I am thrown back into school just as quickly as it had ended.

Storm Eowynn passes over Ireland just as I'm returning home from shooting photography for four bands in BelloBar. I see Conclave at the cinema with new international student friends, visit my favourite pizza restaurant in Dublin again, and go to the club for the first time this new year all in a day. Film Society puts on The Grand Budapest Hotel in the campus cinema which I enjoy with a bag of popcorn, a Coke (decided it's not for me), and two good friends.

My scratchy throat turns out to be another illness as I fall sick AGAIN. I book my first ever counselling appointment this week, dive deeper into season 1 of The White Lotus, book a weekend trip to Sligo, and consider attending a surf trip in County Mayo (mostly for the opportunity to meet hot men who surf, what's new? Back home in Vancouver, snow falls.

My crocheting hobby is revived when I join a weekly crocheting/knitting club on campus. I have my frst counselling session with my new counsellor, Sinead, and I cry. Season 2 of The White Lotus is consumed quickly. Can you believe season 3 comes out in just a few weeks? Friends and I see A Real Pain in theatres before visiting a bookshop where I score two very important books. I spend a lot of time hanging out with friends, both old and new, at O'Regan's jazz night, a cocktail night, and watching movies at UCD Cinema (A Long Goodbye, 1973).

Finishing the second season of The White Lotus with only three days to wait until the first episode of season 3 is so convenient. Galentine's Day is spent at Lana's. A hike to a misty flue chimney ruin is taken. Group trips to Belfast and Portugal are booked.
