A bug flies into my eye this week. I watch In Bruges for the second time in my life...I forgot how inappropriate some of the dialogue is but that movie has a special place in my heart. I rewatch an episode of Gravity Falls to feed my soul and take a weekend trip to Sligo with Mara. Fontaines D.C. releases my least favourite song of theirs to date. On a happier note—pun intended—Sam Fender's CD arrives in the mail.

I attend an event at an art gallery in Trinity  and push myself to have a conversation with the female photographer I've been following on Instagram for months. I book a last-minute trip to Cardiff and London to stay with Bibz and Sidney instead of hostels to save money. I promised both of them I would visit and I'm so glad I made the decision to book it. To end off week 27, I hit the cinema with Mara to see I'm Still Here, a Brazilian film about a family living in Rio during the military regime.

Two midterms and a presentation in one day, yeah... I reward myself with a spice bag and another movie: The Seventh Seal, an Ingmar Bergman film. My friends help me fill some of the final pages of my second journal with colourful doodles before my flight to Cardiff. With Bibz in Wales, I try Welshcakes, collect a vintage coat and gloves, try a turmeric latte, go on a hike, and sample perfumes before heading to London.

LONDON CALLING! Sidney introduces me to her friends and I chat all night long, despite a migraine. I make sure to get myself an arancini (of course) and a used copy of Agatha Christie's Death on the Nile. On my final night in London, I join Sidney's friends for a lovely Iftar dinner and party at a random girl's house. I come away from London with a stronger desire to return than the first time I visited London. Week 29 ends with Paddy's Day in DUBLIN of all places!

Final exams in the middle of the semester? Yeah, two! Once they're over, I dance at the club a little, see Novocaine with my friend Nadia after winning tickets for two in a giveaway, and make collages with Mara. I make good progress applying to farms to work on for the summer back home.
